A couple of professors at the University of Texas Austin have done some research and have come closer to understanding what makes women “want” to have sex. In this article, we’ll share with you what exactly they found.

Not such a big surprise? The researchers found women in their 20’s want to engage in sex just as much as their male peers. They attributed first time encounters to experimentation and a sense of adventure.

Many of the women in the study also admitted that some of their motives for sex were purely ambitious. Not exactly like prostitution, but rather, the women will sleep with their partner for a reason that may involve a favor or obtaining some kind of task they later ask for.

They also found sexual arousal is more complicated for women. That they are more physically driven to arousal by men who they find physically attractive and prefered men with symmetrically fit bodies. However, they concluded that this is not the only factor, as many women were also equally attracted to personaliaty traits.

Finally, the study showed that kissing was much more arrousing to women as pre-sex behavior and that the actual act of sex on a regular basis contributed to a healthier lifestyle (sleeping, eating, etc).
